G37 TPM's on G35 Sedan
I purchased G37 19's with TPM's and installed it on my G35. I checked the tire pressures, however the low tire pressure warning light is on. Is something wrong with the sensor, or do I need to recalibrate the sensor to work on my G35?
Also, can you have two sets of wheels and have it calibrated to your car? Or the car can only recognize 1 set of TPM's?
I searched, but couldn't find a clear answer. Thanks in advance

MODS, WE NEED TO ADD AN FAQ ON THIS TOPIC

You can only pair one set of sensors to the car at one time.
Since your G35 wheels are now paired, you would need to take a trip to the dealer to have the G37 sensors linked to the system.
Note that once this is done, you're G35 sensors would no longer be linked.
This is why most people, including myself, run winter setups without the sensors.
My dealer is 90 minutes away and not worth the hassle.

TPMS removal
hey AesonVirus(or anyone else who knows), i need some important answers...
i went to a few tire shops today to get my stock TPMS removed so that i can send them via mail to the person im getting my new rims from, as i have been told that this way i DO NOT have to get the TPMS registered.True?
But each shop told me that they cannot remove the sensors without me having replacment non-TPMS valve stems from the DEALER they said that regular stems that they have will not work(air leak) and if i get that done, i will mess up my stock wheels for good. Is this true?
What im trying to do is to transfer the TPMS to my new wheels as summer tires and then put some winter tires(2-3 month winter) on the stock rims WITHOUT TPMS(regular stems), but according to all three shops(mr.tire, goodyear, montgomery tire) i cannot do that as my stock rims will not hold the air without TPMS and i will "mess up my wheels!"
I need some answers fast as the person im getting my wheels from has been holding up for me for a while.
Thanks in advance.

So programming the TPMS to new sensors is not somthing the user can do? On my Tahoe, the dealer charges like 80 bucks to do it but it takes less then 10 min to do in your driveway. Its a combonation of turning the key to accessory a certain number of times and then the horn beeps, letting you know its in program mode. Then you let air out of each tire untill the horn beeps again letting you know it picked up that wheel.....
Im sure its differnt for the Infiniti's just brainstorming.
