i was also looking forward to it - but it looks a little ridiculous, the exhaust tips almost look TOO big

I'm probably going to go with the Stillen

Yea those tips just look too big for the g35. It doesn't compliment the shape, size or the curve of the vehicle that well.

IMO....IMPUL suits the lines of the rear of the car.

????? Not sure what's up....

I am not too sure what's up with the kit from Tanabe USA but it is NOT the same as what is available directly from Tanabe in Japan...

In Japan the axle-back kit comes with 110mm oval tips and the system is called the ERtune Medallion... The standard Medallion is not even listed for the Skyline - G35... Intake Piping size is 50 - 60mm...

Street price for the Medallion ERtune kit is 55,000 yen or about $ 520 usd...

Muffler description page
http://www.rd-tanabe.com/lineup/meda...une/index.html

Specific listing
http://www.rd-tanabe.com/item_search...lect_id=174936

Picture of the Muffler Tip on Tanabe Japan site is this...

Cheers...

Oval tips look the best as they compliment the lines of the car. Still, all of these options are overpriced.

the tanabe looks terrible, it isnt even lined up with the cutouts in the bumper, it just looks like someone did a poor job installing it

first thing i noticed. if you're showing off the exhaust, why not have it perfect on your one-off?

i'm not impressed at all with tanabe's build quality. same goes for hks. my blitz and fujitsubo exhausts (other cars) were worlds beyond them, with the fuji being the best made i've seen so far

Interesting info higuma...I definitely like the tips of the pics you showed more than what was found by the OP.

I agree with most that Impul tips and cans fit the lines of the car better than the rest.
