Hey, my auto 'pshh's too at high throttle shifts, too. Glad to hear that it's 'normal'. I have been wondering about it. Does anyone have an '07 that doesn't 'pshh' durning a sporty accel?

I hate to say it but I don't think I've had the G over 7k. Sure breathes nice up there, though.

The OP is NOT lying... I just got a loaner sedan from Infiniti and it makes that pshh noise and I also got it to go a small tad past 8000 RPMS. I got it to touch 8K rpms on several occasions.
