Hey guys, I just noticed that the silver part on the shift **** has some kind of clear coat on it and now it's coming off...do you think the dealer will replace this for free? it looks haggard...i will post pics later when im off work

 

If the **** isnt scratches or show signs of damage, there's a good chance that the dealer will replace it free of charge.
If it's scratched, you may have trouble getting them to replace it for free, since the scratch you created may have caused the peeling.

If you find that you need to pay for a new ****, consider the **** from the M, which is all leather and no longer has the issue with scratching.

 

^^, i actually do have scratches on my ****...came from the dealer i swear, but the scratches are near the bottom toward the boot and the peeling is at the very top near the radio...ive been scratching at it, maybe i should stop lol...i'll take it there soon and tell you guys whether they replace it or not...thanks aeson
