NYC Wheather make me do this!!!!! Black out HD light!

Ideally, you would want to sand the inner shroud. A spray on plastic primer then a spray on high temp paint would work best. Many light coats are better than one thick coat. A clear coat to top it off and you're set.

A gloss or flat black is really personal preference, but a semi gloss/gloss would look nice on the inner shroud. Earth's looks flat black, but it's hard to tell from the pics.

Cool, but could you tell me what paint you used? because its hard finding these sort of things over here and so I might need to get it imported in.

"Duplicolor" is a popular paint used by headlight modification guys. You can actually use any spray paint, but a high temp paint would be preferred since the projector does get hot inside the headlight housing.

I used Duplicolor Primer Sandable and Duplicolor Mattblack
Sand the Chrome gentlely!
Primer Once and sand
MatteBlack Twice and I baked them with very low temp*for 1-2 minute.
