keyless entry system button not working

ok, the button on the drivers side door handle is not working properly. im guessing its just worn out. does anyone know if its an easy replacement or is it a real pain in the ***? i recently turned over 70k miles (i drive about 800 miles a week for work) so no warranty for me..

This is a shot in the dark, but if it is anything like the coupe it is not simple, but very doable. Door panel off, then window motor plate, couple of bolts and linkages for the handle and it will pop out.

Does the passenger side work? Reason I ask is there is a setting I think to turn this feature off, probably not the case, but good to make sure.....

yeah, the pass. side works. the drivers side works partially, but it takes a lot of effort to get it to work, its clearly worn out.
