I played around with the key fob and messed up the Lock button. Previously when I lock the car it will honk once. Now it is completely silent. Can anyone tell me how to set it back so whenever I lock the car it will honk?

Hold the lock and unlock buttons on the fob down for a few seconds, it will switch back.

 

I tried that already
First, I press Unlock button first then Lock button and hold them down for a few seconds. I tested it by unlock and lock the doors. Nothing changed.
Second, I press Lock button first then Unlock button and hold them down for a few seconds. Same thing. No honk

 

^uhhhh, how about holding them both down at the same time for a few seconds?

yeap hold both at the same time for few seconds. That should do the trick.

whoops!

 

i held them both at the sametime, but now my car honks insanely. everytime i press the lock button, any idea?

 

any ideas? my car only makes noises when someone opens the door when the car is armed. it doesn't make any honking noise when i lock the car.
