I have a question on muffler system replacement. My 2004 G35X has 155K miles, and the muffler system has been growling for a while. It's getting much louder and I probably can't wait much longer. The reason for my delay is the sound hasn't been terrible, and the price to replace it. The repair shop I go to, and trust, quoted me close to $900.00 to replace the system, including y pipe. Sound reasonable?

 

For a few hundred less you could buy a nice system that would sound better than one pieced together! Exotic Speed RI-T, several members here on G35 Driver run that system and love it, might be worth checking into...Gary

 

Thanks Gary...will definitely check into that. Any recommendation on where or who can install that system?
