Nifty Shifty shift boot installed!

Just got this today! I picked up by tools, laptop and went to work as soon as I received it

The instructions posted by Locksmith in the DIY section are spot on and very easy to follow. Took me about 15 minutes I would say from start to finish. Here's some pics I took during the install as well as some finished pictures. All i have left for the interior now is washi trim swap and a custom finished M45 shift ****

Fitment of the new boot is perfect. Actually I had an easier time installing the new boot than removing the stock piece. What's funny though is the stock leather boot was zip tied to the shift **** from factory. I actually had the boot get loose several times before and now I know why. I don't know what's up with Infiniti but there is supposed to be a metal ring in there instead.

Console opened up

Wires disconnected

Shifter assembly removed

Stock ugly boot

Awesome suede finish boot

The factory zip tie.. lol

Thanks to Locksmith for these boots! They look sweet and feel great
