Wood Trim Peeling

I recently bought a 2007 G35x with 23K in Aug 2010. A month later the driver side wood trim started peeling away, and a few days ago the passenger side is beginning to do the same. Has anyone had similar issues? How did you fix this? The color of the wood trim on the doors doesn't exactly match the center console. Could this be aftermarket veneer? I know it was an option for wood rather than the aluminum in 07. Thanks! Ben

I didn't know this was a problem with wood trim also. Yea, like the other poster said dealerships have been replacing the stone trim 07's door handle pulls/steering wheel covers under warranty.

Yeah, I've read and seen a lot of door handle/plastic trim problems, but I find it kinda odd that the wood paneling is peeling. It actually looks like there's wood trim under the veneer but it's hard to tell. Anyone know if infinity used wood or plastic for the wood trim option?

Infiniti recently released a ITB for wood trim peeling that comes as a kit for all four doors. Take it to the dealer if its factory wood trim and if its still under warranty they will replace all four door wood trims no charge.
