Losing your seat memory is normal when the battery is removed but you should be able to enter a new setting.
You will also need to reset your Automatic Window/s as well. Roll the window down, holding the button in the entire time and another five seconds after it's all the way down. Then roll the window back up, holding the switch another five seconds after it's up. Do this for each of your auto windows.

As for the seats, you should be able to set a new setting. I can only suggest you make sure you're doing it correctly.

^ what aeson said, for seats have ur car in the ON on START position and adjust all ur seat, steering. mirrors etc to ur liking, then hold SET for a few seconds and the leds for the 1 & 2 memory buttons will light up, then let go of of SET and simply press and hold the number where ud like to save the settings and u should be all good.
