Washed my car, and I went to wipe the inside of my trunk and noticed "rust" i tried to wipe it and it wouldnt wipe all the way then checked my weatherseal and it too had rubbed off rust on it? Called my dealership and they told me to bring it in...





Wtf am i suposed to do? how do you even fix rust? what should i be making the dealership do? is thr any way they can blame this on me?

 

BUMP i'm taking it to the dealership in a few hrs i wanna know what needs to be done...repaint? new trunk? cleaned up?

Looks like im going to have it repainted next Monday, the paint warranty guy is supposed to come back from vacation then. I'm hoping I will finaly be able to debadge without any shadows :P

 

^nice to hear, u can just have them not replace the emblems and lettering, take it form them and tell em you'll put it on yourself later on to allow for the paint to 'set' for a longer period... they wont care

Yeah i'm gunna tell them not to install the emblems lol i'm still not positive, she told me to bring it in monday to talk to the paint warenty dude so im hoping that means i'm getting paint lol
