as for the other side, here are all the emails (minus the actual invoice). I have removed and replaced my name and email with xxx's for privacy's sake; I did keep in Strafe's info, since that is available in their .sig and on their website, but I took out what appeared to be personal email addresses.

Also, if you see two(or three) of my emails in a row without a response from Strafe, well, that's because....they didn't respond. I left the date/time stamps on there to illustarte the long timeframes involved.

Sir
I understand and we will show your CC company Our documentation. Yes we do get to answer your claim with them. The reason you get missed answers or responses is because we get the same from Our supplier. You get the response we get in order to give updates. Why because you constantly asked so we asked and gave you the answer we got from them. We hide nothing nor lie. We simply get your email ask our guy and give you the answers at that moment. We are at their mercy. Who is left looking bad? We are. We never lied to you plain and simple. We gave you what we got. It works the same if we didn't respond to your inquires. Then it would be we aren't repsonding. Since you feel the way you do take care. Sorry again and we will be in contact soon with your CC company. I answer all charge backs personally. You get credited then I respond to the charge and either you win or I get my fees. So now it is up to me and your CC take care. I guess this completes all the email traffic. Oh and On our website there is a $25 charge back fee I also send all my disclaimers to the credit card companies too. Yes they get everything. Might boggle your mind why? Nevermind I wish you a good day Sir

I'm not sure what was unclear about my email. However, a series of question marks in your email indicates that you did not understand what I wrote. I will clarify it:

I ordered (order #80) via your website, a set of CF hood dampers and hood pins, on September 18th, 2011. You (Strafe Auto) have continually either ignored my attempts to contact you, or kept saying the items were on back order (for such generic items, that boggles the imagination). Finally, after your repeated outright lies and missed promises, I decided to dispute the transaction with my CC company, which I have done, and they are in the process of crediting my account $150 (the total of my order).

I have also posted on G35driver, my poor experiences with you. In fairness, I notified you of that, and of my post on that forum.

If you have anything further to offer, please do so.

Sincerely
xxx

Since Tuesday has come and gone, and after I gave you some leeway, I've decided to follow through on my promise. I will be calling my credit card company shortly and disputing the charge.

I've also made another post on G35driver referencing this email.

https://g35driver.com/forums/6341244-post322.html

If lies, missed promises, and veiled threats are how you treat customers, I highly recommend against doing any business with you, for everyone that I speak with.

Sincerely

xxx,
I'm emailing you to give you an update. The backordered dampners will be in tuesday. Please refer to and read the disclaimer on our website in which you order the parts. I just wanted to inform you that that there is a 25 dollar charge back fee if you are inclined to do so. With chargebacks we send all email documentation you will save yourself a headache. Since we do not make these products we are at the mercy of the manufacturer. this is an update on your order and we will ship tuesday in which you will get a tracking number and we would also like to say have a nice weekend.

I will need that tracking number no later than close of business Friday, 17 February, 2012.

xxx,
not sure what g35 post your referring to. We will send you tracking as promised, thanks.

As stated in my post on G35driver, I will remove the post if/when I get a legitimate tracking number for my shipment. If I do not get this by this Friday, I will be disputing the charges on my credit card, using these emails as my statement to my credit card company. They have been really good about things like this in the past, and I imagine the dispute will work out in my favor. All in all, I would rather get the hood dampers, but I do not want to be out the dampers and my money.

Again, I hate to have to resort to this, but the long delay and lack of communication has forced me to do so. Please send a tracking number no later than close of business this Friday, February 17th.

So you guys had the other struts in stock? If so it seems like this could have been easily avoided by just offering him those instead when the ones he ordered continually weren't coming in.

I want people to know of your customer service before they make an order, so they can make well informed decisions. If that leads them to order with you, great. If it leads them to order elsewhere, great.

If that leads you to having better customer service and communication with customers, and in the end results in you having a great, profitable business due to your great customer service and quality product, that's the best result of all.

Oh, and I want the Swedish womens bikini volleyball team.

And a brand new 2012 GT-R.

And world peace. But I'll settle for the Swedish team and a GT-R.

^yes, by our own doing. we both have full time jobs and its hard for us both to get on here as much as we used to. Hence telling all members to email us directly instead of leaving messages in threads where we might fall behind. Its to improve customer service
