Not stepping on anyone's toes here but I've ordered over 8 grand worth of **** through Strafe since December and although a few items took a while to arrive "which most were explained to me on why shipping/production was taking so long" I can say that the wait was worth it on the parrts I've ordered. All parts were great quality and fitment. I've had to work the Polly Inven a little, but what do you expect with body kits? I've picked up the CF AMS hood, Strafespeed V1 CF trunk, poly Inven, Impul sides, Chargespeed rear, CF Splitter, MD ART Pipes, MD Shockwave exhaust, pulleys, transgo shift kit, Stance Coils, SPC Camber kits, and many other items. Only things I'm still waiting on are my ART Pipes which MD emailed me themselves stating the production line is down, and the Transgo shift kit which Strafe is working on getting to me now. I've had some communication issues here and there and some unexpected wait times, but all in all they've done solid by me and the parts have been quality compared to other parts I've seen my friends order. Sorry to hear about everyone on here who has had issues but for those reading and haven't dealt with Strafe I can say I wouldnt have a problem ordering through these guys again. Maybe I just got lucky, but I doubt that's the case here

I think they made their website on Angelfire or Geocities. Looks pretty high-tech and user friendly.

Latest update on my issue (OP), is that I emailed dustin on April 8 asking for a update on the HID kit and he told me that its coming in on tuesday, April 10. I let him know that he should contact me when it does and let me know. He told me he will let me know.

Today is April 18th, 10 days since my last email and i have had no contact from Dustin what-so-ever.

Just wanted to let you guys know on whats going on.

The aluminum shroud is probably a zspeed shroud; I suggest ordering directly from zspeed here.

The reason the bumpers and skirts were shipped from VIS is that Strafe was a drop shipper; that is, they did not make anything of their own, nor did they keep any stick. They just took orders from customers and then contacted the other companies, and had those companies ship directly to customers.

There is nothing necessarily wrong with drop shippers (although I generally prefer to order directly from whoever makes the item), but Strafe sucked. There is no other way to put it. They sucked.

VIS sells at their retail pricing, which 99% of the time, is substantially higher than what vendors sell them for.

Yes. It normally takes a bulk order to get the discounted "wholesale" price. This is the only way Strafe would have been able to get a profit.

I'm sure they could have made individual orders every time, but they wouldn't get the price break they would if they waited for a bulk order.

Customer spends the same money either way. The customer waits longer so Strafe can get the better price break.

. i always thought as an official vendor to any manufacturer u would get the same wholesale price no matter if u ordered 1 or 20.
