Well like I said we are taking measures to enhance our service and make things better from here on out. I can agree there are those unhappy and those happy so from here on out we have to take things into consideration and move forward. Thread like this helps and allows us to see the concerns. Thanks for the imput and comments. We look forward to seeing if you come back as customers. If you decide not to come back or try again then we wish you well too.

thought i can shared one story too with strafe.. last time bought the m2 exhaust from them.. after a week of use the weld of the exhaust resonator on the axle back broke loose and it gave me rattle like CRAZY. since i was pretty sure it was under warranty so i thought just gave strafe an email, and im in eugene, OR. after some conversation back and forth with strafe, either dustin or idk who told me to sent back the exhaust which was broken to be exchange with the new one.. BUT, they were like, just took it off, send it to strafe and i had to pay for send and return shipping while i dont have my stock exhaust anymore.. do they really think that i should drove the car for a week or so without having a missing axle back on my car? and so i told them if they can send the new one first then i can sent the broken one (its my DD car).. and they said no.. so **** it and i was just thinking i pissed so i brought it to exhaust shop and just cut those resonators off instead send it back and pay the return shipping too which would costed me way more than cutting it..

VIDEO TO PROVE IT!

^ wow are you serious???? that's your complaint??? I have zero sympathy for you. I hate on strafe's customer service every once in a while but I feel sorry for them when they have to deal with complaints like yours.

1) everyone knows Strafe doesn't make the stuff they ship, so don't blame them because your exhaust welds were sh*t

2) They offered to exchange the exhaust for you and you're still complaining?? It's standard commercial practice anywhere that the buyer has to ship back damaged goods in order for a vendor to replace it with a new one

You can't expect any business to send you a replacement for a damaged/faulty product under warranty before you send the original product back.

Typically, you spend the return shipping and the vendor covers the shipping back to you. It's actually pretty simple.

Another route you could have taken was purchasing a new exhaust (again) from Strafe. Once the exhaust was installed on the car, you could have sent the old one back and get the refund.

I've had to do that on several occasions with other companies. Really not a big deal imho.

im still staying quiet hoping i have some sort of pos. outcome from this but this hit close to home so i have to comment...

for the comment above about the exhaust, i can just share a personal experience from topspeed vendor on here when i recently purchased a exhaust. i ordered an invidia gemini true dual exhaust, when i installed it the flex piece was leaking inside the flex, i contacted topspeed and they took control of the whole situation. They contacted invidia and i had the new piece in a few days and never had to send my old one back or have any down time or any added shipping costs or bullshit. no questions asked. now that is how i expect to be taken care of

you can say its not a big deal because your not in my position. im an international student here, and this is really my DD car. do you really think that i need to drive around with 1 exhaust missing? oh boy, thats a big deal for me. and its not that easy to sell m2 exhaust back, and i dont do credit cards since i dont have social security number.

You can't expect a business to be able to do that with every single item they sell. How much does it cost to send the flex piece versus a whole exhaust? Claims of flex piece leaking vs crappy weld of the exhaust pieces?

indeed, i dont expect every business to do so. but they do have to understand my situation as well. as i said again, this is my DD car. i dont have any other car beside this. i wouldn''t mind to sent mine first if i have another car. and if i do 1 day shipping i got quoted from fedex 100 bucks. thats like 200 bucks just for they mistake which is crap welding, and yet another 50 bucks for me to go to exhaust shop and get it adjust back again. 250 bucks? its like 80% of how much m2 exhaust cost.

^ You can't expect all companies to do that, and for good reason. I think we can all agree that MotorDyne is an awesome company, if any of their parts had a defect, Tony would instantly send out a replacement for free with a prepaid return shipping label for you to send him back the defected part. Great, right? Tony recently stopped doing that since a couple members would keep both parts, install the new part on their car, and sell off their "broken" part, costing Tony money. I dont blame him for stopping that service, there's just no guarantee that people arent lying and just trying to get free parts.

i dont mind really if i had to send mine back, as long they sent their first.. and without 1 day shipping it probably only cost me like 25-35 bucks with usps parcel post. and i dont bother to do so.
