Anyways I can see that they are at least trying to do something to improve. They closed their threads and admitted that they don't have enought time to monitor everything closely. I just hope they finish dealing with the transactions they started already.

Good luck!
Email me your issue and I will see whats going on..We closed our threads to have Customers email or PM us so we can be more on top of things. What worked in the Past is not working now. We do read and try to improve. Since 2009 times have changed and Customers expectations have also changed.

We of course are working on all our transactions. Sometimes we wait for Products like everyone else.

If it is a VIS product and it is back ordered then no other company can get it too. There are copies of VIS products and we ask you make sure of who makes what....

This thread actually has made Us look at what and how we say things..Thanks

i will say this much, Lawrence at Strafe has really done a 180 w/his attitude as of late. i was very close to him and Dustin at Strafe's inception but because of a lot of personal SoCal related dramas we've grown apart. with that said, i can definitely appreciate the efforts he's putting forward into turn things around. i find that a lot of the drama on here is perpetuated by both fan boys and haters alike, most of the time not even directly related to the particular situation or parties involved. i don't think there's anything wrong w/a little friendly competition between vendors on here, as i've said in the past but let's hope people on both sides of this start letting go and we can all just get back to business. let's keep it lighthearted and not forget to laugh at ourselves once and a while, that's my piece.

My issue is on the 1st page. I am the OP for this thread. I don't know if it's a VIS product or not though. And I don't know agree that I should be asked to know what makes what either. From my perspective, anything I buy from Strafe is a strafe product and not VIS, Anzo etc.

And I am glad that this thread was able to contribute to something positive.

Thanks.

Oh I was ripped off by Strafe as well. I was mad!!! But, just like in your case, they said they will not take ANY responsibility. I was told me to ship them the wrong item that they have sent me. I have done that and...poof my $$$ and my item gone. Strafe claims they never got the item.

I think thats a trashy way to do business...screw their customers as much as possible without supplying product they are looking for. Send it back and you loose your money and your product!
This is my experience with Strafe!

If you used a credit card to pay, I suggest calling your CC company, and discussing the issue with them, even if it is past the 60 days normally allotted for disputed charges.

I can respect your perspective.
When we were updating our terms I asked a few larger automotive vendors for input and help in Our Terms and Conditions and got pretty much the same advice. Our disclaimer isn't much different from Others.
I will add Our Term and Conditions area which all customers agree to at time of Purchase. We have this to clear up any questions. Most everything we spell out in the Terms on our website.

WARRANTY
All products come with the warranty that is applied directly by the manufacturer. Strafe Automotive does not offer any of their own warranties and are not responsible for product failures or failures due to installation. All products are intended for race use only as suggested by the manufacturer and should be installed and set up by professional service centers ONLY. As stated above we are not responsible for shipping cost other than by our own mistake of incorrect shipping. Any item that is altered or changed from its original state without the consent of the manufacture will not be able to be returned or receive warranty support. The warranty of a product is facilitated by Strafe Automotive; however we can only enforce the manufactures decisions. Warranty/Return claims must be made within 24 hours of receipt date. Failure to do so will result in a waiver of customer's right to return the merchandise. By law, a dealership is not allowed to void a warranty based upon having aftermarket parts installed on a car. When you add an aftermarket part to the car, the aftermarket part will void the warranty of ONLY the stock part it is replacing. Strafe Automotive will not back warranty request due to shipping damage, improper handling, installation, abuse, neglect, accidents, modified, painted, or competition use. No labor or inconvenience may be included in any warranty claims. Warranty claims apply to the parts only and do not cover labor, installation, paint, or other incidental charges.

This is my experience with Strafe!
I don't recall your order or return and would sure like a chance to evalute the issue for you. Was the proper return procedure followed? If not then either it went to the shipper who doesn't have a record of a call tag or your product and we don't have any item at our shop. If you have anything to help me find out what happened I will surely see what I can do. These are why we spell these things out on our website and make things clear. Otherwise things just don't work and items tend to get lost.. We have had numerous wrong items shipped over the years and we have taken care of it through the proper procedure. Sorry but Strafe has to follow our shippers rules. We don't make it up.

I apologize you feel the way you do. If the procedures weren't followed then Strafe didn't do you wrong. Like I said until I see the entire email traffic I can't know what happened to you.

Please provide me by email the entire history of your transaction to include the "return''. Usually if we make a mistake with the wrong item we don't ask a customer to ship the wrong item back to Us. We actually have the shipper issue a call tag and we instruct the customer what to do. Then we ship out a new part. Without following these instructions or terms then we have no way to track or control any record of a return.

As Listed on Our website a brief

Shipping & Returns

If a package is returned to Strafe Automotive or manufacturer without authorization, you will be responsible for the return shipping costs and pay a 35% restocking fee & no refund given. These fees will be charged to your account on file or sent to collections. Strafe Automotive DOES NOT REFUND SHIPPING CHARGES. If you modify, install, or alter the item in any form, we cannot accept it as a return and you maybe are required to purchase a replacement. In the event that the product you ordered is sent either incorrectly or processed wrong by Strafe Automotive, we will arrange for the package to come back to us and ship out a replacement. We will check with our suppliers and after receiving the incorrect or wrong items(s) we will send a replacement out as soon as available. Any cancellation of order request will be assessed the cancellation fee and in some cases the restocking fees. We will evaluate the situation before we determine the shipment was incorrect. To return an item back to us, please do the following: Contact our Customer Service Department by email to receive a RMA number. All packages returned without a Returned Merchandise Authorization number will be refused

After about 4 months of driving with fiberglass bumpers many factors can create stress cracks. Some come from material or some come from driving or parking lots, speed bumps, typical road debris or driveways. The movement of the car itself and driving habits affect the fiberglass . There isn't a way to possibly know and Strafe or the manufacturers can't warranty anything after it is on the vehicle,

I can understand how you feel though. Myself and Dustin are customers of these same parts we both mod our G35's just like the rest of you and we pay body shops to do our work for us. We both have had good work done and a few bad work issues. We don't pick and choose which item we get off the shelf. I think the forum forgets that we buy the same things as the members . My own wide body front bumper has a few stress cracks I knew it would happen after dragging the front on my driveway. I'm back to the shop to have them fixed.

We always advise every customer what do do on our website. It is listed in terms and conditions...
Choosing a good shop and good work is one of the most important things a person can do to make everything look good. Prep and Paint is 1 of the most important areas that people see. This is the 1 area I tend not to try and shop lowest price. I shop quality and products used even if it costs a bit more in the end.
