I can vouch that he has been working on NEW items to provide to the community. Some of them were showcased at the GTG and are currently being showcased at SEMA.

While I think Eric should have sent out a blanket email to PAID customers letting them know that he may be offline for a couple of weeks while he prepped for SEMA, our dwelling on what should have been done will accomplish nothing.

A lot of smaller companies and business in the industry do actually shut down operations before and during SEMA.

Once again, like I have already said. Eric has not taken any additional orders and is working to get everyone sqaured up and taken care of.

This is not his "other" job like Strafe always made an excuse as to why they were stealing money from people. So I'm confident that things will get straigtened out.

This isn't me being biased. This is me knowing what is REALLY going on.
So my question is, what is he going to do In the future to prevent this from happening again? The demand is still there, albeit, probably weary now due to this thread. But it is still there, and so far there has been no talk of him hiring additional staff to handle the sales volume. Obviously, he isn't going to give up his shows, or stop working on his new products. What gives? Something has to change or this will repeat itself again.

We are doing all that we can, actually we continue to go over and beyond. I can't tell you how much time I've spent talking with and PMing various vendors who have not followed through with customers with the hopes that by me contacting them directly they will follow up (it usually works).

It is not the job of the staff to ensure that a vendor is taking care of its customers, that is ultimately Internet Brand's (IB) responsbility. IB handles the vendors accounts on the forums not the staff. The staff monitors things and informs IB when signficant issues arise.

I was never under the impression that just because a vendor is on this forum that they are "safe" nor was I under the impression that the forum/mods are responsible to fix bad business. This is still the interwebs and there are good, bad and sh1tty companies. The only way to get that peace of mind would be to go to a store and pick your bumper and put it in a shopping cart. Even as a premier member, I don't expect g35driver to fix a bad purchase but I DO expect them to warn us about bad vendors.

That is part of the reason why we created the Vendor Feedback section. There were threads (good and bad) about vendors all over the site. With one consolidated subforum you can look for reviews of vendors prior to making a purchase.

I just think its a problem because there is so little awareness of the vendor feedback section, especially for the new people who are usually the ones who keep getting screwed by the sh!tty vendors
