Time: Saturday October 11th 8:00 AM
Place: Glendora. Stater Brothers Parking lot between Foothill Federal Credit Union and China King Buffet. On the dorner of Lone Hill and Route 66 (Foothill). There is a Shell station on the corner of the parking lot.

How are the roads on this drive going to Mt Baldy? Is it all asphalt or are there dirt roads as well? Just want to know what I'm getting myself into before I commit. Thanks

What, you don't have the 4X4 model?? (JK). The roads are paved, smooth with a lot of turns. There are some occasional small stones that fall from the hillsides (slalom obstacles) but for the most part the road is well maintained. Later in the day there are a lot of motorcycles racing on the road but if we get an early start we will have a good lead.

For anyone who wants to go. It's a nice drive with a lot of twisty turns and great views. I figured 8:00 AM is late enough for the deer to get off the road but early enough to beat the motorcycles. I'm flexible with the time though if more people would like it later.

Sorry gmen I can't make it the wife and I will be in Mexico from Friday to Sunday. I live in the Riverside County area so it will be close to me, maybe next time.
