FYI....when we had a prelude meet there at the Ikea parking lot away from the main Ikea parking. Ikea called the cops. 2 cop cars came and told everyone to leave. No one was doing crazy stuff there neither. Just a thought.

I think we should change the meeting spot w/ respect to the fact that THX stated traffic would suck (getting there, moving inside the lot) and Goped says Ikea notifies the cops. I've heard that there are a lot of huge abandoned parking lot's in the Glendale area. Lin, start looking =P

Was talkin it over with Ed yesterday, and it would work out to have it at a freind's shop. its good cause of the above statements about ikea (even though ikea is no longer at that location) but also because there is plenty of parking, it is in a secluded area, and it is down the street from the original location. The new location is :

Go North on Azusa Avenue off the 60fwy.
Make a left into the lot at RAILROAD AVENUE.
It looks like you will be going into a loading dock area (because that is what it is) make the first right and it will be down on your left. BTW, the sign on the building where you turn in will say 'SUN UP'.

and this is a freind's shop, so please exercise dignity and responsiblity while in the vicinity. and the shop carries all the aftermarket brands - hks, greddy, blitz, apex, tein, volk, etc. so bring your price requests . . .

i don't think there are any weinerschnitzels around the area.. but there is a bunch of other restaurants near hometown buffet and costco. theres a chili's, red lobster, acapulco, black angus, tgif, marie callender's, souplantation all w/in walking distance of hb/costco. but nothing beats the costco buck-fitty hotdog/soda combo!!
