Infiniti Clock

I love the car, but I wish with all the other cool features they would have come up with a better clock. I know it's their trade mark and tied in with branding, but how about a Digital Version!!!

I love the analog clock! Nothing can beat it; I think it was wise to use it.

Re: Infiniti Clock

The Infiniti clock is actually a digital clock with hands. You'll find this out if you ever try to change the time.

On another note, I equate having an analog clock to having an analog speedometer. I hate digital speedometers. With the needle, you can see the rise and fall of the needle without actually looking straight at it.

Also, analog displays allows you to see the entire spectrum at once, and determine where you are in the spectrum with a quick glance.

I hope that made sense.

Re: Infiniti Clock

I call it a "cheesy clock". But I learned something...if you're washing your car and need to know what time it is, you can just peep in the window and look at it because its analog. If it were digital, you'd have to either yell at someone in the house, or turn on the car and mess up the leather.
I've grown to like it.

Re: Infiniti Clock

I like the clock. It is one of the cool intrinsic things that Infiniti has. If I want to look at a digital clock I will just pop out the nav screen. To each their own. I guess you could replace the clock with a boost guage, of course you would have to instal a Turbo or Supercharger to power the guage.

Re: Infiniti Clock

I too love the look of the clock. I've read the problems owners had in the first production cars, but I think the TSB did a good job since I haven't had trouble reading mine day or night. I'm happy with it. I also like mrjimmy55's post.

Now, as far as reading the time on it... It takes me as long as it does to figure out my Swiss watch, another cool looking time piece.

Ho brah, I gess dis kanak stay stupid too la dat. hehe (for all the kanakas on this site) kay den, laters.

Re: Infiniti Clock

It's not supposed to twist like a true analog clock. You turn it just a bit and hold it, and the hands will move while you hold it. Kind of like holding the up/down button on a digital clock. It's really a digital clock with an analog display.
