Picture of Trunk

Anyone have a picture of the trunk where the jack goes with the plastic/cardboard cover off. I was looking at my trunk last night and it seems like I'm missing something, but I don't remember if it was ever there or not.

Thanks...

If you have the jack and the cheap cover, then you're not missing anything.

Re: Picture of Trunk

But there is an opening that I swear wasn't there before. Seems like there was supposed to be a small plastic cover on it. My car came back from the repair shop and there are a lot of things that is messed up so I just want to make sure I'm not missing anything.

Re: Picture of Trunk

ryoken,

The area that he is talking about is the plastic cubby area where the jack, and the tolls are stored. If you are to look down into the trunk, there is the jack, then the bar with the hook for the jack,...then directly above it there is this 6" X 4" opening in the plastic. Looks like an upside-down "V" in the plastic holder. That opening looks like there is supposed to be cover and I dont think that my 03 has that hole there to my memory.

Does that help a little in regards to the description??

Re: Picture of Trunk

The jack goes in that panel in the left sidewall. You can see the tip of the jack sticking out in that second picture I posted. There's no room for tools in there. The tools go inside the spare tire.

Unless, of course, you're talking about a coupe and didn't mention that fact. I haven't looked in the trunk of a coupe to see how it would be different from my sedan.

Yeah it is the coupe..sorry about that. I found out that open compartment is actually normal. Just seems so odd to be open like that.
