Hey guy anyone know whos got after market windshields in stock for the coupes. dealer wants $900 ( damn rocks man Think im gonna have to go through with insurance on this one!

That sucks dude. How big is the crack? Why don't you go get it repaired instead of buying a new one? Many places who repair windshields will do it at 10% of the price the dealer is selling an original one for.

And I don't think any company makes an aftermarket windshield. Even if they did, you just can't trust the quality and it's simply not worth it. I would first try to repair it, if that's not possible.. just claim it, it will NOT affect your insurance like you think... if it even affects it at all.

 

Well, that's weird that it's not cover by warrenty.
Last time I had a 2002 honda, I broke the sun visor by myself, and still was under the warrenty. I didn't pay anything for it..and yours was not broken even your fault. INFINITI gotta be better service.. try another dealer. and feel sorry....

Yeah dude, that should definatley be under warranty. No question.

 

I paid $1200 incl. labor to replace my windshield after some jealous a$$hole put a brick through it. 900 is a good price they are giving you.

In California, your insurance should cover replacement with no deductible. I recently replaced the windshield on my Mercedes and they used the OEM glass.

whos your insurence with? I have 21st century.... im gonna have to give them a call. I know PPG was making an after market but for some reason no one has it anymore it was on back order about 3 months ago not it doesnt exsist.
