Yes the squeel is as you describe. However I do have the shims. I went and got some squeel stop brake goop. That made the squeel go away fo about a month, but it is now back with a vengence.
I bedded the brakes upon initial install.

I like every aspect (esp NO dust) of the Hawks, but the squeel is for crap!!!

So, do the Satisfied or EBC brakes squeel????

that goop does not last @ all.
my satisfied ceramics squeek every now and then, not enough to anoy me. i did some research and raybestos has ceramic quiet stops for our cars and i had them on my older car and not one squeel. i believe the nuber is D815QS.
