Considering a '06 6MT. One of my main deterrents is the cost and wear of the OEM 19" tire sizes. There are a number of tires on the market that are a different size that are cheaper and have a higher treadwear rating than the OEM tires.

Does anyone see any problems with running the following tire sizes when the original Bridgestones wear out?

Front: 245/35/19
Rear: 255/40/19

Any advice would be appreciated.

I guess most of us think it's odd that the determining factor for buying a 2006 G35 is replacement tires...

 

Car will be daily driver..... daily work commute is 80 miles round trip. The cost of tire replacement is important to me.

Need to get replacements too. Is the above mentioned setup fine? Or should I just stick with OEM size.
What's the Pro and Cons of both?

 

yah i want to know about that set up too! ive searched too and i dont see any talk about this set up. 275 rear are too risky for me and i know people have done it but just dont want to bother!
