should I paint my stock rims black?

I have been thinking of this for a while. I want to paint my stock 18" wheels a nice glossy black color.

Does anybody think this would be ricey? I think it would look nice with the color of my car. Here is a pic of my car right now:

I don't think so...........

Nice looking G.........No don't paint your factory rims.
I don't recall but I don't think anyone has had the
factory rims BLACK CHROMED. Check with the
wheel or chrome shops in your area if you like the
idea. I paid like $100 per wheel to have my factory
rims chromed before I got my Volks. LOL

lots of people have powdercoated there oems black. ive seen 17s, 18s, and 19s (all oem) in black

looks decent and is very cheap compared to getting new wheels..
