Tire sizes on stock 17s

I have an 05 base with the stock 17s, and I need a new set of tires. Firstly, I'm looking at the Kumho Ecsta ASX, because it seems to be the best for $100 a tire. Second, they don't come in 215/55/17, so I thought I should go for 235/50/17. Will the tires clear when turning and will they bulge alot? Also, I run blizzaks on the rears in winter. Is it alright to use 215/55/17 blizzaks in the rear and ecsta asx's in the front with a size of 235/50/17?

I ran the 235/50/17s for a coupe of years with no problems. They do bulge a tad and some may think they float a bit too much. But they do fit. Now that I put 17x8 5Zigen wheels on, that size fits perfectly.
