Is it OK to have different pads front/rear?
Is it OK to have different pads front/rear?
I've seen lots of posts about EBC and Hawk pads. Is it OK to run different pads in the front and rear on a sedan? Is it OK to run EBC or Hawk up front and leave the factory rear pads on? I'm currently at 15% up front and 50% in the rear. I wanted EBC but they only make the fronts for sedans. The other option is to run the Hawks front and rear.
Feedback would be greatly appreciated...

I have had the EBC Greenstuff pads up front for anout hmmm 3-4 months. No problems at all, they work great. Will get the rears as soon as they come out.

I believe they only have rears for the coupe/brembo. I have a sedan. I think I may go with the EBC's up front.

I have non-brembo brakes and have had the EBC pads up front for months and stock in rear. Car feels great, highly recommended, but the dust is still there. I will try the Hawk pads next time.
