I really need to get off my lazy **** and put up a sticky so we can stop seeing these threads from the newbs.

19x8" to 8.5" +38 to +35 upfront and 19x9" to 9.5" +40 to +45 in the rear. Depending on your drop (if any). You will also need to dial in the right tire size to ensure they will tuck.

You can go wider in the rear with some slight modifications and dialing in some negative camber. Again, if you plan on lowering.

I think you all forgot to say that "round" wheels are a must.
Cavemen figured this out many years ago

^My bad....I knew I should have thought out my response before I typed it out

As Mr. Gee Pasta said, please remember to ask for circular wheels when purchasing You will have to roll your fenders forsure if you go with the square ones

that is so wrong! There is no way those will fit. He needs at least -10 offset all around and use bolt patter 5x120 or 112 will fit as well.

Nobody can ever answer that for you...there are MANY MANY manufacturers & styles...start perusing the gallery or the "show me your wheels" thread to get yourself some ideas!

It would be VERY helpful if you then listed what type of springs you are dropped on.....

HA HA, damm newbs....
BTW what does 'rolling the fenders' mean, what does that cost? I'm trying to learn the lingo around here, cause I'm a newb... I just learned what "NSFW" stands for, after the EXPLICIT SEXUAL CONTENT popped up on my screen.

Chico I'm shocked! You also forgot to mention he will need to pull the suspension off of a Saturn Ion in order to make the square rim sit right under the fender.

And here I thought you knew everything
