Can I run 235/50ZR17 on stock rims with clearance?

Does anybody know if I can put 235/50ZR17 Kumhos on the stock 03 alloy
17" rims and have enough clearance?

Thanks

It is going to be taller than the stock wheel so your speedo will be off. You should run a 235/45.

The 235-50-17 will be 26.251 tall vs 26.3 for the stock 215-55-17. The speedo error will be non existent.

That's exactly what I have - same brand, same size, stock rim... it is as close to OEM diameter as you can get. You will be fine.

I want to take the same route also. Once the tread life expires, I would replace the stock Bridestone with some 235/50/17 tires also.
