Did a search and no one seems to be running this set up. Can someone chime in on this?

I wanna know this too. It seems like 245/40 and 255/40 are much closer in height than 245/35 and 255/40( 3.38/4.02 vs 3.86/4.02). 245/35 throws off the speedometer to read 65 at 68.23 where 245/40 reads 65 at 65.77 which seems more reasonable.
Also, i want to run spacers (im thinking 20/25mm all around) without lowering. Should i expect any rubbing issues with 245/40 & 255/40?

Im have 20/25 spacers with 245/255 tires and no rubbing, but I have my fenders rolled. could even put a 25 up front if you wanted.
the way I would answer your first question will be that our G's get power to the rear wheels not the front so the front wheels have to be within the same size range of the factory tire to not throw off the VDC. So the speedo shouldnt really matter. So saying that 255/40 is close enough to 245/40 in the speedo and tire size and not throwing off the the VDC also.

rubbing issues with 245-255--- you will not rub, BUT if you put spacers you will rub. only in the rear

Is there something wrong with running 245/40 in front? People on this thread seem to think that 245/35 is ideal.
