Really? In motorcycle tires all it takes is for you to get heat in them. I do the first lap easy then let er rip. Are car tires different?

I had 555's which were awesome dry but not so good wet.
Now I have FK452's which are the best tires I have ever had except for the rim protector lip not being there like my 555's.
I was going to try T1R's next but maybe I will stay away.

Cool

I went from T1-S's to the new T1-R's....and I thought they sucked until they were about 1/2 worn down.

Now, they feel pretty good.

I wish the made the Falken RT-615's in 19"!

Toyo uses ALOT of mold release compound on their tires. It can take up to 500 miles to get it all off, or just wipe the tires down with some simple green or orange blast.

You'll be hard pressed to find a tire that can come close to the toyos at the same price point.

Update

Its been about 3 weeks Ive been rockin these T1R's & I'd say a started to notice a better ride around the second week

the weather here in NJ has warmed up a lot & I bet that is a factor because this is a summer tire (like someone pointed out already)
when i first put them on avg temp was high 30's - low 50's
now we are seeing steady 60's & 70's

I'd say these are pretty good once broken-in
Im going to purchase new T1R's for the front this week

That's what the tire rack site says as well.

I'm in northern NJ, and have used T1-S and T1-R's for years. They're pretty much useless until the temperatures are consistently over 60 degrees. The warmer it is, the better they stick.
