No i did not drive through any constructions sites recently.

Strange, ah well.

If i buy a new one for this side, then should also replace the other rear tire as well? for even balance ? etc

for 2 nice 245/40/19 tires.. around $450-$500??

ok that in CAN is not bad at all....
u got me scared there for a sec man...
thought that was 400 for ONE tire rear.

450-500 CAN sounds about right to outfit two rear tires in OEM setup of 245/40/19.

Come on man, I just got the car, don't scare me like that so fast

i think we got mixed up here...or was it just me :|

ah well....seeing that the prices u were quoting were from tirerack.com, then those are US prices. Then again the canadian dollar is not too far off.

So it should be close.

Thanks....i will post what i ultimately go with. Hopefully a patch plug combo is sufficient enuff for a couple of weeks till i decide what brand of tire i want to put on the rears.

Exactly !!!! you should not just put a plug in that unless you are trying to injure someone. They have to remove the tire and put a patch on the inside to do it properly.

Yeah, I will request that tomorrow and nothing less.
Have to see what the dealer and tire shop will say about the tire's tread life first.
