19x9.5 +30 with 19x10.5 +28 Tire choice? Rubbage?

Ok so I got some a set of volk gts on order, 19x9.5 +30 in front and 19x10.5 +28 in the rear, but I'm still unsure of the size I can get away with. I ordered the wheels from Greg of Injected Performance and he assured me the offset will work fine.
He also recommended me to go with 245/35 in front and 275/35 in the rear but I was wondering if I could go wider without rubbing, just for some extra rim protection. Maybe 255/35 in front and 285/35 in the rear, i think that actually matches the OE diameter better but I'm worried that I'll be rubbing one something. It's going on a 05 coupe with stock suspension.
Any opinions?

the front is going to be okay. The rear may rub.

I had maya STM +29 on 285 and they rubbed. I had to roll the fender a lil. But it's definitely worth the safety. At least run 255 on the Front.

I would do a 285/30 in the rear to keep them closer to the same diameter so your VDC does not flip out.

wouldn't the 285/35 actually be closer to teh stock diameter?
Also can I use teh stock TPS and valve stem in the volks? I tried to search this but didn't come up with much

ttrank - 285/35 rear doesn't affect the VDC sensor at all.

Nelly, I think you can use the TPS, but requires a lil modification I last read. Contact the wheel vendor to see if they can help you.

Chris from F1Motorsports can help you with that. He's a great guy.

i got the same size wheels runnin 245/35 and 275/35 rear with about a 1.2ish drop and i had to get my fenders rolled, but it also depends on the tire, some are more cambell's chunky than others.

on stock suspension for a coupe.. 285/35 wont even come close to rubbing.. theres like a 2inch gap from the tire to the top of the fender with my 275/35/19

unless you're slammed, 275/35 on a 10.5" wheel won't rub. the fronts will be fine.

hi. i think those offsets are quite on the conservative side... imho.

i have 255/40 front with 285/35 rear. when the car was slammed about 1.5" drop, the rear rubbed. i needed to roll/cut the fender lip.
