I had to replace one of my Goodyear GSAs last July to the tune of $210 mounted, balanced, and with a road hazard warranty. The trouble is the odd size - I had to wait over a week to get one.

It's the new cost of the stock tires that actually make it worthwhile to sell them if you plan on upgrading rather than waiting until they wear out.

A local G-Y dealer gave me almost $600 CDN for my tires with 8/32 left on the tread! Made the cost of the Pilot Sport A/S a little more palatable!

Yep, tirerack.com is the way to go. Even if you don't buy from them, you can research, review, and survey to find the best tire for your needs. I upgraded my 99 Maxima tires and the difference is night and day. My new tires are much, much better than the Nissan stocks. Michelin and BFGoodrich make some nice tires for $100-170ea. It's almost as much fun as shopping for cars.

 

I had the same problem........flat tire.........$220 to replace.
My problem was G-Y had them on back order? till?

I had to buy a new set of tires. Sucked because I probably had a good 5K left on the ones I had left. I still have two of the 4. Maybe ill call a G-Y dealer to see if they will give me some cash for them :-)

I use tirerack exclusively but I may try treadepot.com. They have Toyos at great prices. You may want to look, just to see. I am waiting for my Pilot A/Ss to wear out or sell'em to a friend but I am going with Toyo for my next skins on the G.

Not sure which tire you have, but I have a set of 4 Turanzas from our G sedan, brand new with 0 miles, size 215/55VR17s. I give them all to you for $325. Perhaps this helps?
