you can do it they will be tight the first time but some muscle into it or go buy a breaker bar with the correct size socket and that will make it 10x easier

+1 or if you have a longer pole just slide it over the factory lug nut wrench and that should loosend them up. Also spray a little bit of WD40 or some lube on them to help loosen them up.

if i can get it i usually put the bar to where i can step on it and it will break free its usually hard the first time you take it out and also if you havent taken them out in a while. dont be afraid to put a little muscle in it.

uuuuummmmmm..... NO.. you do NOT want to step on the bar, that's how people royally FUKC up they're studs. You always want to pull upwards with the bar.

Tighten the lugs by lightly by hand with the lug wrench, once they dont turn anymore with minimal force, turn them another 1/2-full turn. Then take the car to a tire shop and have them torque the wheels to 85 ft/lbs.

yes, and it can warp the rotors if they are overtightened

Buy a torque wrench and torque them yourself. A good wrench is not that expensive, and you'll get plenty of use out of it. You should always check the torque again after you drive the car for about 50 to 100 miles.
