Cheapest Tires

I'm looking for the cheapest tires to put on a 2005 G35 coupe with the 19" rims. I like the Kumho Ecsta's for $150 on Tire Rack, but they only have the right size for the rear rims. Does anyone know of a tire around the same price with products available in both sizes? Or is there a retailer that has Kumho Ecsta's in the 225/40/19 size?

You really want the absolute cheapest priced tire... no matter how crappy it is?

I'm going with Falken FK452's in a week or so when I buy my tires, and you can get them on discounttiredirect.com for $148 per rear tire and like $138 per front tire. I came to the 452 decision based on a lot of good feedback that I read on them when used as a general purpose street tire, and not based on price. They just happened to be pretty cheap and last a long time too.

Go with those before you go with some other crap brand just because of their price. Also, the prices I posted were for the 18" rims that my car has, not the 19" ones that yours has, so the price might go up a lot due to the extra inch in rim diameter.

Quality car? Quality Wheels? Then you should get quality tires - don't skimp out on rubber man you will feel the difference in handling, ride quality, and wear.

Save money with cheap tires now...until they wear out fast and need to be replaced often OR have weak sidewalls that result in a flat and/or bent/cracked rim.

Spend money on good tires - you'll be better off in the long run.

I love these posts from folks who fork over the dough to buy a great luxury sport car, and then want to out the cheapest tires on it and cheapest regular gas in it.

Go with the Falken FK-452- best bang for your buck, and they are made in Japan as well.

They don't make the right sizes for the coupe though

Why do you make idiotic comments like these? If you don't have anything posititve to add to the thread, please STFU.

Lots of people who own the G35s don't have a lot of money to burn, hence why there are a lot of posts about cheapest tires and cheapest gas. Yea, i bought cheap tires for my g35 coupe too. 4 of them only costs around 500 bucks. Go ahead man bag on me about how cheap i am.

Now if you are really rich and have a lot of money to burn, go buy a BMW or Mercedes and hang out in their forums. I'm sure you won't see these kinds of posts.

225/35/19, 235/35/19 or 245/35/19 won't fit? OEM's are 225/40/19 and 245/40/19 right?

+1...Plus is called shopping around. Why buy Potenza's when tires such as General Exclaim are just as good, if not better? At the same time save about $200/each tire. Some people...
