Bottom line is, for all those that are getting those high numbers out of the rears is because you are going past the 2/32 mark of the wear bars and in actuality, the tires were not safe at that point.
but the front tires were still good, I had OEM 19's btw

That's why I bought Bridgestone Potenza RE960AS Pole Positions. 40,000 miles tread warranty. I even asked if it still covered my car, because I can't rotate the tires.
They said it didn't matter. After he saw my car, he said, "Honestly I doubt these tires will last you much longer than 20,000 miles"
He said if they wear out after 20,000 miles, they'll basically give me half my money back... I asked if he was ok with that. He said he didn't care, he said that's Bridgestone's problem, not his.

im at 10k and my tires are gone....I drive very cautiosly making sure not to hit an puddles, potholes, etc.
I have my car lowered but spent a lot to have good camber, etc.
My friend has an evo9 just as old as my car, his tires are gone too....a New Hampshire thing?
What tires do you guys recommend getting since these are gone now and I need new ones????

but don't think I'll get more than 25K miles out of them. I'm running 35 lbs
all the way around and centers aren't wearing out.....Boco it's possible you're
running too much air in those rears since the centers are wearing out. Try
35 lbs in the rears and see if that helps. Just because the sidewall figures
tell you max lbs is 50 psi doesn't mean you should run that much.

Anyone try to find tires online? Would shipping be rediculously expensive? I'm a college student and between my car, bike, and other expenses I spend my money wisely.
