Question about TSW Laguna wheels
Well I got some new wheels. I got some TSW Lagunas and I was wondering if anyone knows if the lip on them is actually chrome. It is shiny like chrome and looks like chrome but I just wanted to make sure. Because when I was cleaning my wheels I was trying to get some tar off of them (already have tar on them!) and they got some light surface scratches from other stuff that was on there when I whiped them off. Also does anyone know how to clean their chrome lip without putting scratches in it? Thank you!
let me know how the polish does for you as far as the scratches cause i myself have some black sterns with the same deal as yours. i think mine are polished but i have slight surface scratches as well and want to confirm the correct thing to use to get the scratches off....i'm just scared to try something that might mess up my wheelz!

Yea its weird that they are so easily scratched. I think there might be a clear coat or something on there that seals them. So if I lightly rub them with some swirl mark remover or a polishing compound it might work.

You might get better responses moving/posting in the detailing section, scratches are usually the result of improper wash techniques. I personally use dedicated sheepskin washmitts for my polished lips to minimize marring
A lot of folks have luck with Mothers powerball products.

I called TSW wheels, 714 891-0700, and they confirmed they are clear-coated.
Nothing you can really do except take them to a wheel re-finisher.
He did say if the scratches are very fine, you might try a very light rubbing compound on a soft rag(t-shirt) to smooth them out. The key is you don't want anything real abrasive.
