20" Sevas vs. pothole

I would think twice before purchasing Sevas. The wheels look good, but it shouldn't crack like that. I guess you get what you paid for.

By the way, it's not my wheels. I found this on club lexus.

are those part of their forged series? that's not a crack. that's spoke separation.

You can get into a horrible accident like that. Did that happen to you? If so what kind of warranty or settlement is included with that kind of deal? Normal driving should NOT = what we're looking at above. PERIOD

Yeah on the TL forum a few members have bent Sevas as well.

I'm not surprised...it's SEVAS after all. I've hit some potholes pretty hard, and a curb once, and my Axis Se7ens did the same thing. Never had problems with my SSRs, Volks, Enkeis, PIAAs, etc...

Ive had them for a few months and have hit many potholes without a problem.

Wow, that's nuts!

On my VW B5.5 I had two BBS RX wheels crack on the inside lip and I'm pretty careful about potholes and all. Gotta tell you after that experience I will NEVER buy BBS wheels again.

I broke one of my Sevas back in March and have been waiting for a new one since... They keep telling me they are on backorder.

That is what they tell me too..LOL!!! But after looking at this thread...I am thinking twice before buying Sevas Wheels.

ANyone know where Sevas's are made from?? I heard it was somewhere in Asia?

The new Sevas forged series supposed to be strong....they used T-6061
