'04 owners. Any probs with tire prex sensor?
A couple of days ago the sensor light came on (car has 1100 miles on it). I checked all of the tires and they are fine. The demo model that I test drove back in October did the same thing.
Just curious if anybody else is having a similar problem. Will be taking it back to the dealer shortly.

my sensor went off a few weeks after i got the car, drastic temp change outside, had the dealer reset it and i haven't had a problem since

Mine went off twice shortly after I got it, when the temp went down near freezing. But 5k miles later and at near the same temp it hasen't gone off since.

Mines fine and its been from 55 to 20, then form 40 to minus 1, no problems on the stock 18's!!!

Interesting. It did drop to below freezing here and then the problem occurred.

I've had the same thing happen twice when the temperature dropped. The first time, I checked the pressures and a couple were down to 29 psi. This last time it happened, I checked the pressure and 2 were at 33 psi and the other 2 were at 35 psi. I talked to the dealer and they told me that there is a known problem, but not a bulletin with them. They have to recalibrate the sensors in the ECU. This is basically a Consult II program operation. If the light comes on and stays on, then there could be a bad sensor. I found out this is also a common issue and sensors are replaced frequently under warranty.

Yea the same thing happens to me when the tempurature drops below 55, I live in miami so it rarely happens. But the light stays on until i fill it up a tiny bit .

I had the same thing happen...I just went to the gas station, added air (cuz they weren't up to tire req's) and as I pulled out of the station, the light went off.
