Ok, so I'm getting ready to order some wheels and tires but I need some sizing help. I know I will need some fender work because I am lowering the car and I want to have about -2.0-2.5 camber...maybe a little more.

This is what I'm getting:
Wheels: Work VS-XX
Tires: Toyo Proxes T1R
Suspension: Tein Flex Coilovers w/edfc, Stillen Rear Camber Adjuster, Stillen Rear Toe Arms, Stillen Front Camber Adjuster, Hotchkis Sport Sway Bars.

The two sizing setups I wanna run are:
F: 20x9.5 275/30/20 R: 20x11 305/30/20
or
F: 20x10.5 285/25/20 R: 20x11.5 315/25/20

No stretching here.

Which ever fits best would be fine. I'd be cool with slightly smaller front sizes too if anyone has any suggestions on size but I still want more than a 255 width.

If anyone thinks the wheels need to be a little wider for the tire sizes then let me know. I'm think the tires might overlap the lip of the wheels a little too much. I'd like for the sidewalls to be flush with the lip of the wheel or just a little past.

Now, here's my big question. On each setup how much of an offset would I need to get my wheels as close to my suspension as possible without rubbing so I have to do as little flaring/shaving as possible? I don't wanna ruin the body lines of the car.

I'm trying to get as much meat as I can in the rear without a widebody because I'm stroking and twin turboing my motor and I plan on having a lot of power.

I saw Leo350gt's car but his G isn't lowered and I haven't seen anyone else that has this much wheel and tire without a widebody kit.

If you are putting a widebody kit on your car, then those wheel widths and tire sizes will work, otherwise, they will stick out past the sides of the car. Why do you want such wide wheels and extreme negative camber? Is that a new look?

 

No, I'm not doing a widebody. I want such wide wheels because I'm trying to get 305 or 315 width tires in the rear of my car. I'm doing a 4.2L stroker and putting the JWT 830bb TT kit on my car and I plan on having over 800hp. The negative camber is so the car will handle better through turns and the more negative camber the more the wheels will be tucked and less rolling of the fenders.

There are some members on here that already have the tire and wheel widths that I want, I'm just trying to figure out the offsets that I need to use. I tried to find out what Leo350GT's offsets are but in his posts he says he can't remember.

 

Do you need BBK clearance in the front or the rear? For the most aggressive setup, I would go 20x10+25 in a standard A disk, or 20x10+23 in a big caliper r-disk. I would run a 265/30/20 on that size or 275/25/20. In the rear, I would run either a 20x11+25 standard a disk, or 20x11.5+31 standard a disk, with a 305/25/20 or 315/25/20.

 

Finally, someone has come to help me. I need BBK clearance in the front and rear.

Thanks for the help, I'm putting a lot of money into my car and I'm trying to do it right the first time. Engine mods have been the easiest part for me to plan out, suspension and wheels have been a lot harder to decide on.
