Angry Winter Tires: 2005 Front Brakes different from 07?

Hi guys, I brought a set of winter steelies and tires from a member from this board. He claimed the set was used on his 2005 G35C with the sports package. Last night, I tried to put the winter tires on my 2007 G35C with sports package, the back fit just fine but the front wouldn't fit because there is an extra bolt sticking out, just take a look at in the picture.

Does anyone know if 05 and the earlier models did not have this bolt or was the seller lying to me when he told me that it came off his 05 G35? If the 05 models really didn't have this bolt, then I can atleast sell this set to a 05 g35 owner and buy another set that fits the 07. Any help would be apprciated.

redlude97 I am still new at this, what do you mean by just remove it? Isn't that bolt there for a reason? Can you just elaborate, thanks.

This bolt is to prevent mixing up of front/rear staggered wheels. It doesn't hold any parts and can be removed.
