Bridgestone Blizzak WS-50s vs. Dunlop M3s

I need some help in making a decision on snow tire setup. Can people please chime in on what they would go with, thanks!

17" Bridgestone Blizzaks w/ 15,000 miles for $600 and 3 hour drive to pick up

OR

17" Dunlop M3s w/ 7,000 miles for $550 and 4 to 4 1/2 hour drive to pick up

The drive is really tearing me apart on making a decision. So your input would be appreciated.

WIL

btw. I will be making this drive in one day. So its between a 6 hour drive and a 8-9 hour drive.

How is the treadwear too on snow tires?

Given if they perform similar, the M3s. 15K on snow tires is alot.

Go to tirerack to see the performance comparisons.

Looks like the Dunlops have better treadwear...

Dunlop M3:
8.4

Bridgestone Blizzaks WS-50:
7.2

The overall traction is better with the Blizzaks though, but with 15,000 miles...I think I'm going with the Dunlops that have 7,000. You guys agree?

I'd order new Blizzaks from Tirerack for a bit more and save money on fuel and your time.

That's true too. I got an used set of blizzaks for $300. Probably has 75% left

I don't have any 17" rims to put tires on.

If wheels are also included, then the M3's would be the ones to get , because 15,000 miles is a lot of mileage on winter tires and they say after a certain amount of miles winters lose a bit of their ice traction.
