Alignment on TEIN BASICS (coupe)

Just got the G aligned and they said that the best they could do was get it 1 degree off stock specs. Is this a good enough setting or should i raise the car more to get it back to stock specs. Will 1 degree be a problem or is it something most won't bother to fix. Thanks for the feedback- Peace

What are your specs alignment specs at after they were done? Toe and camber.

They didn't say much, only that it was 1 degree off of spec. They said I should buy a camber kit to fix it but I don't know if I want to spend money on that. hehe

Re: Alignment on TEIN BASICS (coupe)

Well it would be nice to know, sure sound's like it's camber.
Coupe specs fall in the range of +0.3 to -1.3 camber in the front. But, to adjust the front, will cost allot more than the rear.
The rear specs allow for -2.0 to -1.0.

You really should find out the numbers from the alignment shop. If your rear camber is at -3.0, yeah you've got to do something about that. Best way to fix is to by a set of LSDunique rear camber arms, also sold under the Kinetix brand, they cost $219.99, I have them on my car, highly recommened here.

Curious, how far did you drop the car?

Thanks for the link, dropped it about 1.5 inches i think. $219 is not so bad. It's alot less than a set of new tires. hehe

I would get ahold of them and get the exact alignment specs (if you still can). For future reference try to always get a copy of your alignment sheet with the before and after specs.

If your out a whole degree then that's alot and will probably eat tires up pretty good.

If you can swing it then the Camber / toe kits are the perfect solution.
