[QUOTE=Triple8Sol]Hell no. They're nice in the dry, although louder than some others in its class. However, they are only so-so in the rain. Really not that great at all. I'm from Seattle, and I've had these tires in several sizes.

indeed, they are louder than stock... however, i have smashed my car into a gaurd rail on the interstate months ago with tires having barely any thread life which was the cause of the hydroplaning. **living in tampa ,fl (hurricane capital)
However, speaking to many g35 owners i not the first to say or experience that the g loves to kick its *** out in the rain n slide in the rain.. I did some research and came down maken a decision of going with the KDW2 from BFG... of course yes low thread life henders the car from keeping contact on the ground during wet conditions..But this tire was designed with thread paths that allow the water to exit the tires or w/eto prevent h/p...
People have certain wants n needs for whatever reason... but only thing i would change bout the tire is the loudness on the road... i enjoy the tires and am looking into trying something else...

Don't get me wrong, the BFG KDW2 is a great tire, and a good value. It does resist hydroplaning while going straight, which is why I said it's ok in the rain. It's just not the best in the wet, but overall a very good tire that I would happily run again.

Would be a sticky thread if it had the consumer reports review and the TR review.

The Bridgestone Pole RE050A is a great tire, I could drive 70 MPH in driving
rain and my Z would never even bobble. No issues with the steering wheel
being jerked out of my hand by standing water....But they only lasted 10K
miles and the tred wear figures are 140....some track tires have better rating!
The only tires I'd buy would be Michelins cause I've never had issues with
them....tred wear 220 to 240 AA A rating.

They get really good reviews from plenty car forums (350Z, WRX, Evo, 3Series, Corvette and on and on)

I'm in the process of getting some for my Coupe right now

This site has the cheapest price http://www.performanceplustire.com/
