Top 5 Tires

Looking to get a new set of tires for the G. I'm currently on Toyo T1Rs. I'm wondering what your top 5 tires would be.

Thanks

Nitto 555, Michelin Pilot Sport PS2, Toyo T1R, Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3, Bridgestone RE075 (I think that is the right number, they changed recently).

BFG KDW2 (what i ultimately got b/c of the tre4adware rating, and the fact that my buddy got a 1.7 60 foot on them...), toyo t1r, bridgestone pole positions RE050A i think???same as stock but more performance oriented,

3 months of research and these are the three that it came down to for me. i was looking for only performance, road noise was kinda an issue, but grip was #1 priority.get the KDW2, 300 treadware rating, amazing in rain and rediculous in dry weather, awful in snow. I get better 60 foots with my KDW's than my MT DR's

I drive a lot so road noise really gets to me when im on the phone and what not and they so far seem to be the quietist of the bunch. Living in florida, as im sure you know, we get a lot of rain. With the G being my daily driver i drive in the rain a lot as well so i prefer something that is hydroplaning resistant.

top 5 is relative, because it really depends on what each person values and looks for in a tire. my list was based off overall performance (wet/dry) and treadwear rating, not so much road noise

add nitto 555 to my list of what NOT to get, if you want something for pure warm road traction; anything under about 85 degree track, and youre done, i took mine back cause i could break them loose in 2nd on my STOCK setup. thats rediculous. my KDW2's i cant break at the top of first even with TP's, intake, and tune.

Treadwear and road noise have something in common though. The softer the compound on the tire the quieter the car is going to ride. The harder the compound on the tire the louder the car is going to ride.

The tires i have put down will out perform the others listen in wet and dry conditions and will give you a quiet ride compared to the others.

The michilen tires are going to wear faster than the others, but you really can't beat them.

I see thanks for that. I have the BFG KDW2s and they are pretty loud, but have great grip on wet and dry.

Tires not an option with me.......!

I've had the best tires available on my cars over the years. The best handling
tires don't last and all the rest with the exception of one have let me down in
one way or another. I will not run anything but Michelin Pilot Sports!

Bridgestone Potenza RE-01R should be on the list. They are my next tire.
