The tires are not directional. The only requirement is that the rain groove (the one running throughout the circumference of the tire) must remain on the inside, as I understand it.

 

Looks like that is the case. Sucks as one wouldn't be able to combat camber wear

 

I had mine installed on Tuesday. Tires have about 100 miles on them, so I would not call them "broken in" yet. It rained pretty badly today and I have to say that these tire rule! They have better wet traction than my Toyos ever had. I was able to spin the tires from the start but I almost had to go WOT to do that.

These tires are much quieter and more comfortable over uneven surface. Did not get a chance to try taking sharp turns yet. I'll wait until 300 miles before trying that. But I have no reason to doubt low handling performance.

I paid about $800 for the tires, including shipping, and $70 to have them installed and balanced.

 

Let me just add a thing on the weight of the tires. I just got my shipment of 225/40/19 and 245/40/19. They are 27lbs for the fronts and 28lbs on the rear, exactly the weight of the stock potenzas. According to tire rack the PilotSport2's are 23lbs front and 24lbs rear.
PS2 are 4lbs lighter a pop 16lbs less of rotational mass. Roughly equiv to 96lb of dead weight. But $826 shipped for the Vred's sure beats the 1370 for the PS2. Just FYI

 

What tire pressure are you running on these tires?

Just put on 245/35/19s front and 255/40/19s on rear all on the stock 19's rims. The sidewalls seem a bit soft at 30psi.

 

I'm running 35.

Got these on my '07 Nismo 350z to replace the stock ones. 295 in the back 265 in the front. Love them.

 

Hey man do you have the name and address of the shop in BC where you got your tires. I'm looking to get a set of 19's and it sounds like you found a great deal on yours!

 

I noticed that the Sessanta section widths for the stock 19" sizes are a bit smaller than other tires. For instance, the Sessantas in 225/40 and 245/40 have section widths of 8.9" and 9.7", respectively, while the RE050A's (for example) have section widths of 9.1" and 9.9". Has anyone running them in stock sizes found that to be an issue in terms of lateral grip, understeer or oversteer?

 

Just ordered a set of fronts 245/40/19s for now. rears still have some life left.

i just ordered them, not here yet. Keep in mind they are only fronts, my rears are BFG KDW 2s. i ave been wanting to get these for a while, just waiting on the tires to wear out. I remember i started to look at these well over a year ago and they are gaining in popularity. Prices have increased a little from when they first hit the market.
