You guys are right, jsut turned 20k on mine and ready for another set but couldn't find them on Tire Rack. Imagine that 20K and yet one of the best prformance tiers out there. My son entered a defensive driver class, part of the course was a flat pavemnet the fire deprtment flooded. They would take a cruser out at 40 mph then yank the sterring wheel, throwing the back end into a slide. Then teach the kids how to regain control. Just for fun they let me on the course, yeah you guessed it, I could not loose the back end. Amazing tires

My last tires (oem Bridgestone Re050A) lasted me 40K miles. However, these were all the same size so I took advantage of rotating them.

The Sessantas I bought are staggered 255/40/19 rear and 245/40/19 front. Hope they live up to the hype
43,000 miles later, I am reposting an update as I just checked my rear Sessanta tread wear and they are bald in the middle. Looks like I ran them overinflated. I was running them at 35-40 psi. I am pleased with the life and ride of the tires. After 43K miles the rears are att the end. The front are still good, could possibly hit 50k in the fronts but I will just order all four. They handled very good in wet and dry weather and noise was good the first 30K miles, afterwards it got noticeably louder.

I am debating whether I should buy them again or try the Continental Extreme DWS tires. What do you all suggest?

In all honesty, if you're getting 50k miles out of 280 Ultra High Performance tires... why not get them again?

Have you had the DWS?

I mean, you're not exactly tearing up the asphalt here, so get a tire that's comfy and safe and enjoy another 50k miles.

Btw, 40PSI is way too high. Where did you even get that range from? Door sticker says 35PSI, no?

I just wanted to get users input on the Continentals because they are more readily available. Also, the Sessantas have gone up in price since the last time I purchased. I bought them for $750 installed and now they are about 920 just for tires, no installation.

I've read people inflating them from 35-45 psi, its just preference. Also read Sessantas ran better at high psi which is why I kept them up there. Its all trial and error at least I know 35 psi might wear better but I dont know about the comfort or gas savings.
