Economical Replacement Tires

what are some good economical tires to buy? I wanted the Falken 452's but they don't come in a 225-40-19 tire, only 225-35-19 & 245-35-19. This would be fine with me but the guy at the tire shop said that would screw up my ABS and Traction Control if those tires are mounted on the factory rims. Is this true?

I know the michelins are good but they are over $300 a tire. What are some other economical options (I'd like to stay under $1,000 for all 4)? I don't like the factory tires that came with it so those are out.

Any input is appreciated.

Do a search at Tirerack.com for that size. They have a big selection, and they test tires and include customer comments and ratings. They even have approved local installers all over the US if you buy from them. I think the new Goodyear F1 all season tire is half the Michelin Pilot price and has had great reviews over there. I plan to get them when I need new tires.

If I buy them online, will tire place (discount tires, tire kingdom, etc) install them for me? What should I expect to pay to have 4 tires (that I take to them) mounted and installed?

Looking at tirerack, it doesn't look like those Goodyear F1 A/S tires come in the right sizes... all I can see close to OEM sizes is:

235/35/19, 245/35/19 and 245/45/19

What size tires are going to fit on a '05 g35c with the 19" rims?
