Longer wheel studs

For those with spacers, etc, how do you get the longer studs in? I used a rubber mallet to pop the OEM ones out, but I can't seem to press the new ones completely in and don't want to damage them. Anyone have any pointers? Thanks!

Well I don't know the "offical" way but if you put a spacer on the stud and thread in a big bolt, won't that pull the stud in?

If that doesn't work, I wonder if heating the spindle with a propane torch and throwing the studs in ice overnight would gain you enough clearance to pop them in?

quick tip leave the studs in the freezer for a couple hours it will contract them making them a hair smaller then, they should be able to pop in with the mallet

Use a stack of washers and an open ended lug nut to pull them through, or do it the ghetto way like Pat and I and use a stack of closed end wrenches LOL

I just put a deep socket on there with lug nut and zapped it w/ the air tools to pull the studs through.

I used the closed end of a wrench, and a deep socket on my impact to get them on.
